Meet COACH DAMALI
My name is Damali Asberry, I am a certified running coach and I have been distance running for over 10 years! Prior to running, I was never an athlete. It started out as a hobby... simply out of boredom, then quickly turned into a passion that has stuck with me ever since! My first half marathon was October 2012 which led to my first full marathon in November 2015. To this day, I have completed 6 full marathons and over 30 half marathons!
When I first started running, I was younger, had no kids and lots of free time! Life was easy then. I would run twice a day, work out like crazy and was faster than I could ever imagine. Then life happened. I had a baby, went through a divorce, and while the passion was still there, I had lost my stamina, speed, endurance and drive to run properly. Then one day I decided to get my life together and become more than my excuses.The feelings and emotions I received as a result of the combination of changes I made felt so amazing that I decided to make it my mission to help other women experience that same euphoria.
We ALL go through life changes, but we can choose to move on and grow through them or remain stuck. Which will you choose?
